Looks like we’re all taking advantage of the Fall Colors this weekend!

The infrared has the orange tone once it is cleaned on a clear sunny day. That is what I like about infrared that I have not seen before on my previous IS500s.

Finally posting pictures of my 23’ IS500. Cloudburst grey with white interior. Just got it back from the shop with full PPF + ceramic all around.

@SINAM it looks like you are set for winter with tires - what rims are you running?

Lexus IS colors have that in a lot of their colors I noticed when I bought mine .

Atomic looks pewter and sometimes goldish when the sun is setting at times

Cloudburst will look dark gray and then sometimes purpleish at times

iridium will look a bright silver and sometimes have a blueish hue to it

couldn’t decide after a couple visits and did a 180 and went caviar at the end.

Suffering major withdrawal here … going on 5 weeks since mine was backed into and impact was right on the driver side door handle. Door won’t open so stuck waiting another 3-4 weeks until my spot opens up at local body shop (every repair shop here had 8+ week lead time).

To make matters worse their insurance company tried putting me in a Kia Soul and refused anything better … kept claiming a $20k Kia was a “reasonable accommodation” for not having access to my 472hp Lexus. So will definitely be seeking reimbursement for loss of use !!!

Holy hell, I totally missed the post about the accident! 🫣😞

Yeah…there’s no way in hell I’d let them put me into a Kia Soul. Stay strong, I’m glad you’re okay and the damage wasn’t any worse!

I know the feeling. While I didn't have a Kia Soul while mine was in the body shop, I didn't have any rental car at all. I was without the car for 30 days, and it was frustrating.

Don't forget about going for a diminished value claim, as well. It wasn't much when I got mine, but I suspect you're getting more.

Here's hoping it gets fixed soon and looks as good as new.

That is horrible!!! Did they at least leave a note or was it a hit & run??

They need to pay diminished value AND make your car payments for you.

It was a long day of work, but I managed to get out for a second to grab some dinner. I took the Lexus and got a somewhat crappy photo.

Good luck. Diminished value is hard to prove and no idea why they'd make your car payments when you'd have made those even if the accident didn't happen. Just be happy if the repairs are done properly.
