After a wash, I’ll drive around the block so water can fall out of the mirrors. In my ‘16, the area beneath had to be re-dried, but that was it. In this one, water puddles in all sorts of places! Wiped it down after my spin around the block and when I got home. The water spots are gonna drive me crazy. 🙄😜

Hope everyone had a great Saturday!

Yep, the trunk and rear 3/4 panel especially is where I noticed water coming from. This is one reason I personally believe washing your car too often is not good if it doesn't really need it. If you only have a few dirty spots on your car, its much easier to spot clean and wipe down with a detailer spray than to wash the entire car and end up with water spots you missed. Long neglected hard water spots have the potential to do some damage to the paint.

Over 1200 miles, and only getting better. Just a perfect every day car.

you could have both form and function without mud flaps if you have PPF put on. So worth it.

I've never been a PPF kind of guy.. and it would still get all the road crap on the sides.

As long as it's washed in a timely way you don't need PPF. Even PPF would need to be washed too.

Answer - I hear ya, our climate is so harsh on vehicles and sometime, a man's got to do what a man's got to do! Seeing all the pics of your snowy location has made me appreciate the fact our snow has already been gone this year which is a bonus - Now it just needs to stop raining so I can mine our for its inauguration trip. I can't help but ask, on one of the pic, there is a clear label that says "STUDLESS" - That is referring to the tire right?!?! (LMAO)

I know they were probably a waste of money, but can I tell you how much I love the lit sills? Love. Them.

^^ Did you install yourself or was this an accessory installed by the dealer? They do look cool for sure, especially I find that with the black background for the F Sport Performance (compared to the white for regular F Sport), I find the door sills a bit boring
