I was able to find black/red f sport badges on eBay and replaced those on my 500 but now I’m trying to find a black or red “IS500” badge and blacked out Lexus emblems for the front/rear bumper. Also wondering if anyone has blacked out their Lexus emblems on the BBS wheels. I know there are vinyl overlays and films you can do but I’ve talked to multiple shops who say to just buy a new custom emblem instead since it’ll last and look better. Anyone know where I can find all of this? I’ve looked on eBay, Etsy, Amazon and a couple other places but wasn’t able to find it. Trying to make mine completely blacked out without any chrome at all. Black on red spec so it fits the theme. Thanks.
I used black plasti dip on the chrome “is500” and it’s held up since I got the car. Idk about the actual logos though. Idk about the front one since I think that holds some radar or some such thing.

I've been trying to find a repeatable way to easily remove the paint/chrome from the Lexus emblems to do an all black badge with a red L and the only consistent solution ive found is just lots and lots of sanding with fine grit sand paper. The below were tests of the factory badges. The black paint comes off easily. The chrome is a bear and I've ruined a number of the factory center caps trying to get it off both physically and chemically.

awesome thanks for all the info, looks like the vinyl overlay might be the route to go - I want to get rid of all the chrome but don’t want new rims since the BBS are already so nice. Tried to see if some shops were willing to take it on but they all said it’s too tough lol
The wheel center caps can either be wrapped or replaced. Would be easy to just remove the wheel, pop out the center cap, and then wrap it in matte black vinyl.
Alternatively you could do the same with any decal. On mine I ended up separating the outer layer of the factory center caps and utilized these three dimensional BBS decals.
