Default NIA Lip

The install looks so easy on their video, but it is NOT! It was not a perfect fit requiring some pulling and grunting to reinstall the 8 existing hex head screws. But the real bear was the additional self-tapping Phillips head screws. There is barely enough room under the car for a drill, right angle adaptor and bit. Would be easier with ramps, but I don't have that stuff anymore. This was a parking lot job that took 2 hours, not the minutes suggested in the video.

I have some low-pro ramps so my install was pretty easy. I agree about the fitment not being perfect and having to pull to get stuff to line up better. I definitely had to use my right-angle drill adapter for the self-tappers. The lip looks so good though.

*edit* I'm dropped on Swift springs

Default 2 out of 5

On their website, I gave them 2 stars out of 5 and I have bought a bunch of after market stuff in my life. If you want more details about my sense of their quality PM me; I don't want to go public until I see how they feel about customer satisfaction.

Install is definitely a lot easier with more clearance, its too hard on the ground.

We do sell a lot of these, pretty good bang for buck.

Was going to get the body kit but looks like I’m gonna stay away.

I personally like it a lot... like I said, I'm dropped on Swift springs, got some low profile ramps, used a right angle drill attachment, and had no issues with the install.

More than the install, they do not seem to care about the imperfections in the finish, albeit from more than a foot away: invisible. I expected perfect and did not get it. Don't tell me I should have returned it, wait another 5 weeks, packing and shipping, etc. Probably no one else will ever see the flaws, but I know they are there.

Mine has been on for about two weeks, and there are already rock chips and scrapes... maybe I should have PF'd it. But I hear you about the quality I didn't notice anything crazy about mine but there's no excuse when spending that money that you don't get perfection. And I definitely wouldn't have returned it and waited for another one. The only issue I really had was I installed a lowglow kit (I know it's not for everyone) afterward, and the glow was shining through the gaps in the lip. I had to remove it and put a piece of weather stripping between the bumper and lip, and the problem was solved.

For good quality front lip i strongly recommend Ikon Motorsport one:

LINK

Quality is great! It feels sturdy, it’s one piece, after one year of having it in North Jersey (cold snowy winters, hot humid summer) no signs of fading, and if scratched - low cost to replace it comparing to NIA one.
My only wish is that they made matching side skirts with same quality.

Plus, personally, i’m not big fan of NIA logo in the middle
of lip, prefered clean glossy black look instead without any logos.

I was afraid of the paint quality and matching. Luckily im Fixed ops director at a dealership and will use our own paint shop. PPF is a must.
