Afe Takeda Intake
As this is just an intake tube. You can see that the hoses connect to the top of the tube unlike the the Afe intake. Also notice that the maf sensor is on the side while the aFe intake on the bottom. I'm just going off what I can see in pictures.
I think should fit due to intake tubes from lems, tom's and other brand are same between RC-F, GS-F and IS500, also someone on here installed the AEM intake which also fits RC-F, GS-F and IS500 and same part number, plus the takeda setup doesn't remove the other half of the oem intake box and there are ports for the hoses on top of the oem intake

Thanks all for the feedback. I am going to roll the dice and order one. I will report back if it fits.
I am not looking for any performance gains. It looks cool and I could use a bit more intake noise.

Initial impression: the car drives the same to me. I didn't notice any power or torque gains. However, I can tell there is more air induction noise when I get pass 2000 rpm (higher volume and slightly different tone). It is not night and day difference, but definitely noticable. Since this is my main objective, I am pretty happy about this mod so far. I need to hear it more to be able to describe the difference in tone.
I have only two gripes with this thing:
1. The air box is ABS plastic with a fake carbon fiber look. It doesn't align with the other half of the stock air box perfectly. It is definitely not causing any problems.
2. The location of the mass flow sensor is not very good. If you follow the installation video to insert air box side and rotate the pipe to fit throttle body side, you will find the mass flow sensor interfere with other wiring harness. In my first two trials, I ended up pushing the cone filter into the air box. I had to wiggle the entire air box when rotating the pipe. No interference issues after it is in place, though. It is very important that you make sure the cone filter is not pushed in. It will interfere the stock intake flap, and it won't close all the way. I suggest that you manually flip the intake flap to check the clearance before tightening all clamps.
