3. Should I be able to get the “standard” Enkei wheels or will they actually only deliver with the all black Brabus wheels? I don’t like the black wheels.

 

Nothing is changed beyond the optional Flare yellow, the power folding mirrors and the new BBS wheels. Don't know if the Enkei wheels have changed or available but they likely have not changed. This car gets few changes each year and they are all color related minus the wheel style. Your dealer will know better what is going to be allocated for production. Odds are they put the new BBS wheels on nearly every car.

 

1- custom orders are not really a thing with Lexus. Each dealership gets their vehicles from a regional distributor, basically on a “take it or leave it” basis. At most dealerships can request from the distributor a model with certain options should the distributor get such a model, but dealers aren’t in a position to guarantee they’ll get it (well, outside of Hawaii apparently).

2- highly unlikely to get wireless CarPlay added. But it’s only $60 or so for a wireless CarPlay dongle that plugs into the usb port and converts things to wireless CarPlay. Pretty much a non issue once you buy one.

3- 2022 was the only year to get the silver Enkei wheels. 100% agree that they look best ... so much so that I swapped my ‘23 dark grey Enkeis for some ‘22 silver ones. Note that the dark gray Enkeis are as close to black as to make little difference. Highly doubt Brabus (BBS??) wheels would be the only option. Likely the dark grey Enkeis will carry on.

 

I'm guessing BBS got autocorrected to "Brabus".

Long story short: talk to your dealer! Get on a list. Whatever they can do to get you a spot in line for an IS 500. Custom orders are pretty rare in the Lexus world.

My dealer seems open to swapping the wheels out for silver Enkeis. I’m getting cloudburst gray. That, with the black trim, I just prefer some contrast with the wheels.

Those wheels come on the IS 350 F Sport as standard. I think they've been referred to as "F Sport split-5-spoke dark metallic wheels" or something like that.

 

Are these the wheels you're looking for? They pretty much only came on 22 MY IS 500's.

 

If folding mirrors will truly be an option, that will make moding our cars for that option so much easier!

 

i put these wheels on my 500 and i love them so much...they are not as shiny here, its a painted finish in canada but you look at posts i did of mine
..

 

Talked with a local dealer. They have no idea when the 25 MY will be available.
