Default New Panoramic View Button

OE button is so tucked away and hard to press while in a relaxed driving position - I'm sure we all can relate somehow..
Got a kit to wire up the sub-function button to be a little more useful.
Now, it's easily accessible and very convenient without having to scramble for it.

Pull into a spot, press the button.
Pull out of a spot, press the button.
Turning tight turns, press the button.

Is there supposed to be audio with this video?

There is a guy on FB, not sure if it's the same as this poster, but he has a wiring harness kit that converts one of the buttons near the track pad to this function.

Does he know this button exists on the left side of the steering wheel?

Yes, but it's a pain in the *** to find without taking your eyes off of the road to try and find it. The idea here was just to make it much more accessible.

I have an idea. Maybe we try tying a string to the indicator stalk and gluing the other end to the dashboard right below the button. That way, I can follow the string directly to the button without taking my eyes off the road.

...

Nah, rewiring the button is more elegant.

I do find it slightly annoying to try and find the button, though muscle memory has made it a bit easier over time.

There is also the auto camera functionality, but that can be annoying. It yanks control of the screen away from Android Auto, so if I am in the process of searching for something, for example, I'll have to start over after the camera goes away.

So, compared to what the car already offers, this is good. Perfect? No, since you lose what functionality the "^" button had.

Yea, would love for all of those buttons to be toggles or buttons in front of the shifter instead of the useless Mark Levinson plate

Auto camera is even worse when you have a wireless CarPlay adapter. It toggles to the camera, then back to a CarPlay adapter start page and finally back to your audio screen, ugh. I like this mod, a button on the steering wheel would have been nice too!
