Neither...

As many have already said, the Conti DWS06+ should 100% be on your list (its arguably the best AS/performance value on the market today)... the Falken FK460 should also make the short list.

the Pilots are fine, but overrated for the cost... & the Pirelli's dont move the needle compared to others in the category

the Kumho PA51 & Cooper instinct are the lower price range AS tier that would be the best price value while potentially leaving a little more performance on the table (the cooper is a newer release, so there's not a ton of reviews yet. but the compound is technically from goodyear. The PA51 has been around a while & is a decent budget option)

i'm going through this same search as well for what its worth (living in the midwest) & have put a bit of time & research into the options available. I basically had it narrowed down to the Conti, Falken, Cooper & Kumho in that order (leaving off the Pilot AS4 entirely from my list due to cost not outweighing performance of the others)...

they are all basically similar in dry performance with most of the separation coming from rain/snow traction, road noise/comfort, & weight. ultimately you have to factor what kind of conditions you plan on driving in if you're looking for a tire that can do it all without having to deal with a separate set of snow tires, & since were not talking about 200 treadware track rubber you're clearly considering rain/snow performance
