Absolutely if I were rich. As a regular person, no. I couldn’t afford it. 😭

Not for me but I do like those wheels. The bodykit is awful.

I wouldn't complain if it had an LS2 in there. Then it would be a real IS 600.

If it looked normal, absolutely! And if it made 600 hp on 91 octane and not E85.

I know I am the minority, but I love power more than V8 sounds.

Or it could be the best of both worlds.... V8 with turbos... 🍆

I'll settle for an LS7. IS 700 is even better!

Either way this car does not exist. Also other than the rebranding on the 4 cylinder cars from 200 to 300 the number always related to displacement. So that car in the video should be an IS 350T. I would be interested in it if they had done it but they did not. Curious to see if we will get any sort of V6 in the next generation IS. At the moment the future does not look good for that.

I don't know if I would get it but Lexus needs a 600 hp TT V8 or 400 hp TT V6 to compete with the Europeans. I'm tired of hearing about the B58.

A little too late, as usual, Lexus.

They went away from that. LS 500 and RX 500 have different powertrains. GX 550 is the same powertrain as the LS 500. It's all a mess now.

I would love it!
I honestly wouldn't mind a hybrid after driving the RX 500 now. It gets off the line quick with electric power then the turbo gas engine kicks in seamlessly. It's an excellent setup, I just want double the power.

I have only owned v8's for the past 10 years (since I moved to the US), I will be v8 over anything else for as long as I can be!.

Absolutely not! V8 or nothing. Id rather just drive a compact car than a mechanical steroid machine. On a different note, I have heard some buzz that Chrysler is seeing early signs of lamenting their V8 departure from the market. Meanwhile Ford has a steady supply of sales with the Mustang. They just cannot seem to make enough of them, much less quick enough. Back on topic, If Lexus should offer a roots style supercharged version of the IS 500 V8, I am all in. Just have never seen enough reliability to want anything with a turbo. I have not purchased a new Sequoia for this very reason. The fact that Toyota/Lexus is using turbos gives me pause to think if anyone can do it right, it is Toyota! I will be watching closely. Very closely.

Nice! They're awesome. Great balance of power, reliability, and efficiency.

I have ping ponged back and forth my whole life lol. V6, V8, V6, V8, V6, now V8 again!

I need to get a car and keep it, but I have a sickness. The new car sickness.
