I'm struggling to find a way to organize stuff in my IS. Like my sunglasses, extra coins, pens, small notepad, and just other small things.

Does anyone know if a center console tray is available for this gen IS?

Or maybe ways tips to organize things in your car. Thanks in advance.

 

I had one in the RC but haven’t found one for the IS yet. I want to put a wireless charger in it.

 

Agree, I always end up stashing things in a cup inside the door cup holder

First world problems, I get it. But this is my biggest complaint with this car. Especially coming from a tacoma, there's tons of extra spots to store extra stuff. im kind of surprised a console tray hasn't been made yet.

 

Sounds like a job for Hld My Beer Engineering.I’ve got their under-seat coolers and they work great, quality product.

If we want to get a group buy going to make it worth their while, I’m in.

I can't imagine the cost of a one man home project 3d printer would charge to build/print/sell a console tray. But I also would buy, if the price is right.

it’s in mine as we speak. Perfect fit. Makes it two levels, so junk underneath and tidy on top. Let me know if you need a photo.

 

I’ll share this link of the mod I did a year ago. The tray is great but I will add that I ended up returning the MagSafe charger. It got way too hot in the center console and in my 30 minute commute I’d only gain about 2-3% charge. Not at all useful.

I don’t usually leave the house without my phone charged, so its really not for me, its for the wife who's phone seems to always be dead.
