Default Fuel pump

Does anyone know the wire hooked up to my 20v fuse is used for this wire was used for my under-glow lighting my lexus mechanic thinks that it might of damaged my fuel pump because it should of not been hooked up to that fuse.

The wire hooked up to the fuse is a poor attempt at wire tapping.

I honestly don’t understand your question at all. This is why it’s so important to learn grammar and syntax in elementary school.

He installed underglow, on a luxury car, and it may have buggered up his fuel pump due to the tap job shown.

Underglow, not even once.

the lexus mechanic should know what its hooked up to, or have techstream to look at a wiring diagram. he should not "think" its the problem, unless they are not actually diaging the real problem

Says "washer" on the cover.....

I would remove it until you can get is safely tapped... especially if you're having any other issues with your car.

This “under glow” job is incredible. Look at the gauge in wire and how it changes under the electrical tape. I’d guess they didn’t use heat shrink tubing or soldering. It’s a rig job to put it nicely. I haven’t seen anything this unprofessional since I was 16 and my friends were installing stereos in their own cars without their parents knowing. I would not be surprised, and hard to argue, Lexus denying any warranty work.

Agreed. It also looks like they bit the end of the wire off with their teeth and crammed it into a fuse.

Probably best to close this thread for the reasons mentioned by @macmaster, @jsch222 and @95bat … surprised the original poster, after posting about this on another thread and getting very negative feedback, created yet another thread to this wiring atrocity. Getting to the point of trolling to be honest.

I don’t think he’s trolling based on what I can tell from his account. I don’t really mind bc this is the most riveting story yet on the ClubLexus IS500 page. My only complaint is he doesn’t respond much to keep us updated.
