Got her done. Just needed to apply more force as there are additional plugs inside the plastic part that the side skirt is installed on that holds the entire part to the car’s body. Here are some pics:
You don't have the front lip spoiler to match though.
No, don’t have the lip yet. I’ve been looking, but have not found one that I like. NIA down in Miami make a good one, but it is plastic dip and not a real carbon. I want to find one by Christmas. Do you have or know of a good one?
Sick! I cant wait to see them installed. I also want these and the carbon Fiber front lip, but not sure if they have any really carbon fiber front lip kits that are for the IS500.. I dont want a gap/ not reaching to the edge on the sides of the bumper wheel wale (is that how you spell that? wale?? lol) by using a IS350 lip...

NIA actually started selling a full carbon kit (minus the diffuser) for the 350s a couple of days ago. No pictures yet but it's on the website. So I suspect that the IS500 is next. But it's pricey. The side skirts are more than the Seibon skirts.
My first attempt to get the install done was a fail…I watched some of the other non IS 500 installs and I thought it was going to be simple. I removed all the plastic clips, screws hidden near the front and back doors and behind both wheels. The OEM side skirt refuses to budge. Any ideas? I will do some more research and regroup over the weekend.

Did you try using a mallet to tap it out of place?

Looks grear on the LE and congrats on getting the work done. I always admire people able to do work on their own car like this, i just don't have enough self confidence to takle any such project. I am better at detailing and such.
Is it absolutely necessary to remove the OEM side skirts to install the Seibon CF side skirts? Or did you do that so you wouldn't be working upside down and it just made things easier?
I have a 2 post lift so I'm wondering if it will be beneficial in this case and allow me to simply raise the car, remove plastic clips and inserts, then install new CF skirts. Please let me know your thoughts on this. Thanks!
