I’d love to know dealers are actually getting for the used IS 500’s they are selling. Assuming they sell them! I see them asking a whole bunch, but any idea what these things are actually going for?

I see LE’s in the $70’s (quite a few of them) and even now some Molten Pearls with high price tags. One dealer in CA started their used MP at $76 and is down to $69! And of course N. Park Rio Grande has a used one at $72.
I think they're keeping the prices high just to show off. They don't really care to sell them. IS500 was never a high-volume seller. Save that for the NX, ES, and RX. The IS500 is more of a halo car. They like to keep it in the middle of the showroom, keep the price tag high, and who cares if they don't sell it. A lot of dealerships also have LFAs on display that say "not for sale," despite showing the $388,000 window sticker. It's the same concept but on a smaller scale.

They can ask for whatever price they want, but what ultimately determines the true market value is the buyer. Why buy used while you can buy a brand new one for MSRP easily (almost no need to negotiate) and perhaps even a couple thousand off MSRP like the one at the Beverly Hills dealership.
In the long run the used IS500 price will follow the trajectory of similar models like the GS-F, RC-F etc.

Last year, when inventory scarcity was likely near its peak, there were two used LE’s in Lexington, one at Lexus dealer and the other at Hyundai. Both were listed around $70k-72k. Then again none of it made sense. We had a 2017 Honda Accord SE that we bought for $22k back in December 2016 and I sold it to Carvana this past August for $19.5k
I think things are calming down now but scarcity on a highly desired model like the IS500 will likely keep them somewhat inflated and dealers less likely to negotiate and simply waiting buyers out.

Funny you mention the one at Hyundai. I’m in Louisville and would see that one at Cronin CDJR in Cincinnati, and looking at the Carmax it started at Cronin Hyundai in Lexington/Nicholasville.
