There was a port or dealer installed Remote Starter called "RES" Remote Engine Start for $500
and the related "RES+ (plus)" for $1000. RES is the simple fob only 3 press and the RES+ added
a subscription based app (different from the 2016 - present app). Pretty popular so it is common
to be able to try the 3 press cadence on any 2010 - 2017 Lexi and it may start. The 2G connection
for the LES+ setup ended a couple of years ago but the car would continue to RS from the fob with
out a subscription.
