I got a stealership to change cvt oil before, but now they are asking for over £500 for cvt oil change, (also diff, diff is a easy job)
Has anyone changed the cvt oil?
Once you taken out drain bolt is the a second drain plastic tube on the is300h?
If anyone has done on I need a step by step in case I need to put it in maintenance mode by jumping obd.
I seen the gs, es etc, please reply if its to do with is300h
I'm not familiar with that model, this is a hybrid correct? I know stupid question but have to be sure. If so it is like this, maybe not exact but you get the idea. Procedure is almost exactly the same as changing manual transmission fluid, fill and drain plug. Doesn't matter if the oil is hot or cold or in between you drain and put back the specified amount, or until it starts running out the fill hole.

Similar drivetrain (except longitudinally-mounted engine and transmission) to an NX 300h for example. We don't get the IS 300h in North America, but it is available in Europe.
So yes I expect your instructions will apply.
I found a thread over on LexusOwnersClub where this was being discussed, and seems like a simple process. I don't want to post the link, but you could Google "Gearbox oil change lexus is300h" and it will come up. But anyway, someone in that thread shared the very same instructions as Lex2K.
