White black gray and silver are ALL played out and yet people keep buying them. But people date and marry ugly people all the time too. Who knows why.
Back in the day, when car lots were full of new cars, those were the ones either the dealer ordered or the factory pumped out, making them the ones that were available, and people bought them with no other choice.
Then there’s all the ‘conformists’ out there (like my wife) that don’t want to stand out, so they buy boring colors.
Every car I’ve bought has been some shade of red, but I’m open to blues, and greens. Won’t ever buy a white, grey, or black!
So it's not the matte black everyone is expecting.
I don't recall anyone mentioning matte black... If anything I expected it to either be a gloss black (like we we have on the B-pillar or front grille surround) or a black-chrome finish like the wheels or the IS 500's window trim. Pretty sure it's the latter.
Oh .... You talking about the one that was so small you can barely read it on a computer , and invisible on a phone ??
Lol it’s not my fault you’re using a calculator screen as a monitor. And on mobile you can tap and pinch to zoom. It helps to read the quick start guide of your phone.

How about just posting a legible screenshot in the first place ? Instead of a zoomed out picture with Microsoft paint pencil circling the script .
Truthfully , your picture was so small , I zoomed right by it without even realizing it was there .... honest mistake that I posted it again ... Just trying to be helpful .
