I posted this on my 4GS forum with no responses, hopefully you folks can help. I cant get my walkman to play in my IS300 FSport or my
GS350 FSport..I make all the connections and the USB icon is lit, the unit shows that music is playing, but I hear nothing (yes, the sound is up).
The Lexus tech could not get it to play either. I had a Porsche Macan and followed the same procedure and it played perfectly, so its not the walkman.
Any similar experiences or hopefully suggestions to fix it will be greatly appreciated. Thanx

 

Update firmware on both your Walkman and the Lexus to see if that fixes it. Most likely it’ll try to connect using SBC or A2DP Bluetooth protocol, you may be able to select which one to use through the Lexus settings.
