I understand that, but your local dealership may have it in stock and you won't have to pay for shipping. Many times they can even order it, and they shouldn't charge you shipping if you pick it at the parts dept.

So guess it was a no brainer in this case... I ended up ordering online from Bell Lexus in AZ - I got the drop in filter, the cleaner and a spare OEM paper filter for $104 shipped which include a free shipping discount for orders over $100 and no sales tax.
