Windshield OEM vs. Aftermarket
Hi,
I have a 2015 Lexus IS250F. Need to get the windshield replaced. Any advice or opinions on aftermarket or should I go with OEM.
Here's the price difference:
Aftermarket: 250 ded
OEM: 250 ded + 218 oem
For some, it may not be much to pay the extra for OEM, but I want to know the physical differences or experiences if anyone has the same car and been in this situation. For example, if the only difference is thickness and there's more sound, I really don't care since my 15" sub will take over any other sounds coming from outside anyways.
But I am willing to pay the difference if there's specific quality variances such as aftermarket doesn't have a tint, waviness as some people from other threads described, etc.)
