FYI, I just uninstalled the app and re-installed it. It still says the trunk is open.

 

It’s a glitch. Mine has shown “open” for a while, then the other day, it showed it was “locked” and 5 minutes later, “open” again. 🤷‍♂️

 

It's the same for me - the app always shows the trunk is open. It also won't unlock the car, but it will show it as unlocked. It will, however, lock it if it is unlocked. I've owned the car less than two weeks and have discovered it's a pretty buggy app. But I still love my car.
I called Lexus and was told they are aware of the trunk lid open bug and are working to fix it. He couldn't help with the app not unlocking my car.
Edit: Now my app isn't remote starting or unlocking the car. I have to take it back to the dealer so they can check the DCM (data control module). Not a happy camper, I've owned the car less than two weeks.

 

I have a 2021 is300. I have the Lexus app and it’s also saying my trunk is open but it’s closed.

 

Same issue here on my 2022 300 AWD, not sure why Lexus hasn’t fixed it yet.

 

By the way, I think this is fixed now.

Their app was updated 2 days ago.

 

My Android phone does not show any available update, and the Lexus app still shows the trunk open.

 

Looks like the latest update fixed it.

 

On the Play Store, it says it was last updated Jun 22, 2022. For me, it's still showing the trunk as open.

 

iPhone app was updated on Aug. 2. Everything works as it should here. Android updates take forever.

 

My Lexus Android app was just updated. It now shows all doors shut, including the trunk.
