Engine compartment rattling noise
2016 Lexus IS 200t . 128k miles. Base model.
This rattling noise started going on at idle and it keeps going on whether the engine is cold or at normal temperature. I just replaced the water pump, due to minor coolant leak , and the rattling noise it still there. Has anyone encountered this before. There are no issues with engine driveability or CEL.

As for 2.0T engine on Lexus IS, that noise is normal at the mileage, i've owned an IS250 for 6 months of embarrassment before i traded in for IS350, i did replaced Waterpump still the same noise and then i replaced all the pulley still the same noise and then i replaced it with IS350, yahoooo noise gone forever hahaha.

unfortunately solara didn’t answer your question. He just made a silly retort to say that he traded into IS350. I would go have that looked at to get a diagnosis. It does not sound normal.
