Need Clarification: F Sport Dynamic Handling Package
I am new to Lexus and am building a new IS 350 F Sport RWD. I have encountered the 'F Sport Dynamic Handling Package' for a whooping $4,200, which lists the following:
Drive Mode Select with ECO, Normal, Sport S, Sport S+ and Custom modes
F SPORT heated Ash wood steering wheel
F SPORT–tuned Adaptive Variable Suspension
F SPORT 19-inch split-seven-spoke forged alloy Matte Black BBS®* wheels
Carbon fiber rear spoiler
Torsen®* limited-slip rear differential (RWD)
Ash wood interior trim
SmartAccess* card key
However, I also seem to read that some of the features above may already be included as standard features. Could someone clarify which features are specifically non-standard and whether the package is worth it. Thanks.

So I have a 2022 with this package. From this list the only thing that can be partially assumed as standard is that the regular IS350 has "Eco, Normal and Sport" modes and the heated steering. HOWEVER, Sport S+ can only be had with the dynamic handling package and the standard heated steering wheel is full leather, whereas the DHP steering wheel has ash colored wood at the top from the 10 to 2 region. As far as whether or not you think its worth it, it really comes down to you. While the package is designed to offer better handling on the vehicle, I believe the impact is negligible and the reason I sprung for it was more cosmetic than anything. I knew that I wanted a carbon fiber spoiler, which by itself is $1000 from the parts department (not including installation). I knew I wanted black rims because I've always had black rims and at the same time I personally do not like the stock IS350 rims. These rims alone, from a parts counter have a list price of over $8000, and with dealer discounts they can be had for around $6000. There alone, you get your money's worth. I also wanted the SmartAccess car key because in the last year or so I've been trying to slim down on the bulkiness of my pockets and the car is a super thin replacement for a bulky key (you still get two regular keys, so you get choices). Now, this is not to say that you do not get handling improvements; when I put the car in Sport S+ mode I notice suspension changes almost right off the bat, but it just wasn't my primary motive for the package.
Tony's got you covered. I think the DHP is worth it for an IS350. It's a pretty sweet package. Those BBS wheels alone are literally worth more than gold.
Be careful not to overpay for an IS350...I saw your other thread. I believe $55k tops (before TTL) for a fully optioned IS350 is about right. Any higher than that and you should get the IS500 instead.

Ha the only problem is I don’t think there is an IS500 anywhere in the US for sale right now.
MacMaster,
I currently have a prospect. Your $55k (excluding TTL) number for a fully spec'ed is very helpful. Just to clarify, should this include or exclude delivery + doc fees?

congrats! I can’t remember exactly. The window sticker will show an additional $1075 delivery. That’s almost always non negotiable. Doc fees should be minimal, you could try to ask to take that off but I doubt they would. Just take a look at the window sticker. Your price before TTL shouldn’t be much higher than that (within a couple hundred bucks). Let us know how it goes!
