Default Sideswiped - Scratches 2021 IS

My 2021 IS 350 got sideswiped while parked on the side of the street. Unfortunately, no idea who did it. Luckily, no dents and the scratches don’t appear to be horrible. Do you think these will be able to buff out or will a body shop need to fix this?

This happened on the passenger back door and wheel. Pics were hard to get. You can’t really see it if you stand back and look. You have to squat down and look closely.

These will probably be able to be buffed out, if not by you, then certainly a professional. Try Meguiar's Ultimate Compound. I use it to rub out clear coat scratches really easily, but this will be a little deeper so it may not remove all your scratches. If I had to guess maybe half.

Try Meguiars ScratchX 2.0 (or whatever the current version is) and work it by hand w/ a microfiber. should be able to greatly reduce the appearances of the scratches. You really don't need a machine /rotary for that job as it's tiny. easily work it by hand.

There's M105 if you want to go heavier or compound. but with those, they'll need a finer follow up product to truly restore gloss. (if you're picky) so just start gentle with a very user friendly product like scratchX.

Looks to be only paint transfer or at worse clearcoat level scratches. Wipe it off with quick detailer, if the scratches are still there get some Meguiars Compound and Polish and work it out by hand.

That can 100% be buffed out. Use a light cut and polish - maybe even just a polish. Rotary buffer, done.
