Default Prolly blew a fuse, or something?

So I was performing a wire tap for my Valentine One radar detector into the rear view mirror. Went for 2 drives and everything performed well. Decided to clean up the wiring, and then something happened. Lost power to my rear view mirror and my Valentine One, and now I have a "Check SRS System" warning come up on my screen.

Edit: Just noticed my AC lights in the center console are not working...

I tapped into the same wiring as was done in this video here, fast forward to 3:10 :

I'm hoping it's just a blown fuse and will be a simple fix...

Just found my 10A ECU-IG1 NO.3 fuse blown.

Replaced

Everything seems back to normal.

Question: Instead of using a 10A, can I replace with a 20 or 30A fuse? I realize I'm drawing a lot of power with my dash cam, radar detector, and I also just put in a car charger (40W Anker) for my phone. Would a higher Amp fuse allow me to comfortably run all these things? I doubt it could be this simple tho... I could actually see this causing problems, but figure it doesn't hurt to ask.

Glad I was able to figure this out, but much of the credit goes to this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...se-please.html

Could you? Yes you could, but should you? probably not... IMO 10A is more then enough to run all of that. If the fuse blew it most likely blew because a short, I'd check the wiring where you spliced and make sure there is nothing exposed. Also if you were yanking on the harness, check any bends in it to make sure wires weren't getting pinched.

Yeah, figured there's a reason why they limit the fuse to 10amps. Thanks for the input.

And funny you mention yanking on the harness, cause now that I really think about it, everything was fine until I started bending the wires in an effort to clean everything up. That's prolly what did it!
