Default my display panel isn’t responding to turn on when it gets dark

as you can see in this photo my headlights are on but my analog clock isn’t on nor are my button lights. i was doing something to the “ECO” “Push normal” “Sport” mode selecter i was trying to find power and i was doing it the stupid way of just sticking in a negative and positive, i saw the lights flicker when i took the pos and negative out and ever since it stopped working. what can i do to make it work again? maybe there’s a fuse if anyone knows let me know!

Can you confirm it any other lights might be out that you may not have noticed yet?
The backlighting is part of a bigger circuit, so if a fuse blew the entire circuit would be out.
If the issue is the Clock and two buttons, then the issue is likely just the Clock illumination circuit...hence why I suggest looking around to make sure all the other lights are working for sure.

it was just those display lights that were out, shortly after i posted this i figured out it was just the fuse.

Which fuse was it? The 7.5A Panel or 10A MPX-B No. 1?

It was likely the 7.5A Panel fuse...which powers all the interior illumination lights (backlights).
If the fuse was blown, then the entire illumination circuit would have been inoperative...but since it's only backlighting it may not have been obvious the rest were out during the day.

the lights that weren’t lit up, were the clock, the small switch lights that come on when my headlights turn on, and the display wouldn’t go dimmer either, glad it’s fixed now though!
