Default Headlights! Confusion..,

Confused, buying some bulbs from Revolution Headlight, but for me to choose the correct bulb, it wants to know which of the following headlights is my car equipped with…

1. Halogen
2. HID
or 3. LED

Anybody know?

Thanks!

Based on your car being an IS 250 non-F-Sport, it most likely has HID bulbs, unless you have the premium package. but you can check pretty easily. If you look at the actual headlight bulbs per module, the number of them is the easiest way to tell the difference.

HID headlights consist of single projector-beam lamps.

LED headlights have dual projector-beam lamps. These are standard on the F Sport trims.

Just looking at them like arentz07 posted is the fastest and easiest way, but figured I'd mention this site anyways since you can check the full spec sheet of your car for any similar future refence questions you may have about what is equipped on your car.

You can go to drivers.lexus.com and to to "Manage Garage --> manage this vehicle --> Vehicle specification --> download full specs" and look up your vehicle spec's. If this is your first time using this site then you create an account and add your vin # to your garage. You can also view your service history on this site.

I also have a non F Sport, but I have the LED headlights as added option on mine. If you have them it will show like this:

Okay, so I have LEDs, thanks! So that brings the questions, are the bulbs serviceable, and if so, brighter aftermarket units available?

The LED headlight bulbs are not serviceable.
