Default Bracket part number for 3IS fog light

Hi,

This is for a 2014 IS250 base model, and I have a busted right fog light. It's the black bracket with the adjustment mechanism that houses the lens.

I just ordered part number 52125-53010 from MyLParts to replace it, but now I'm not convinced it's the right part (and they haven't responded to my email yet, and will not help over the phone).

Can someone confirm whether the part number above corresponds to the black bracket in the picture? I have a nagging suspicion that I ordered something else, and that this bracket only comes with the lens assembly. Thanks!

That part is for a 2IS...which was technically available in 2014 and 2015 as a 2-door convertible, but is completely different than your car.

I'm not quite sure what the part number is.

If you have the part out, look it over carefully, the part number may actually be molded into it.

I think that you're correct that the bracket comes with the Fog Light...considering the adjuster goes through the bracket and into the light housing.

I think this is the part number: 81210-0E050

The screw can be undone and the bracket pops off.

MyLParts just got back to me saying that the part looks right - fingers crossed, and I'll post an update once I get it.

I get that the screw can be undone, but from a manufacturing perspective they would make the light, bracket, and screw assembled for shipping...that way the entire thing gets installed as one unit.
Also consider that if the bracket was broken it was likely due to an impact, which means the light would have also been broken...hence selling the entire assembly as one part makes sense.
Also begs the question, if you wanted just the adjusting screw, does it come with the light, or the bracket.

I'm pretty sure the ML part is not right, but you'll know once you get it...hopefully it is...no one likes the waiting only to go through the entire Return process, then to order the right part, then the waiting again.
The other option is call the dealer and ask them the part number...if they say the bracket is sold with the light, then you already know you got the wrong part.

Just checked Megazip and they confirm that the MLpart only fits GSE20, GSE21, and GSE22 IS...which is the 2006-2013 Sedan and 2010-2015 Convertible.

Thanks everyone for your help. After a lot of searching, the bracket I want is 81211-12230, which comes as a full assembly.
