I bought 2017 IS300 F sport as Pre-Ownership with Normal Flooded Battery by Lexus and i Thought it would be OK.

However, the battery died 6 months later i purchase..

and i didn't know it was all "Wrong battery problem" for long time period.

this car should be equipped "S95 EFB" battery. and User's manual also says so.

anyway, after i replaced my car battery, almost fixed all of problems i had got below.



1. Jerky shifting, especially 1>2, 2>3rd

2. dimmed head light, or headlight Auto height adjust malfunction.

3. Woofer speaker malfunction

4. Surging engine. (not smooth)

5. Trunk Boot Key detection not working. (if you leave your key in the boot and close it, car would alarm at normal condition.)

IF you have these symptoms i recommend you check car battery.


I equipped Panasonic S115/A3 EFB model whichever greater than S95 EFB will work fine.

With powerful EFB my Lexus drive like dream.
