Here are some steps to remove the camera is you think it needs to be replaced.

Step 1 is to remove the carpet trim panel from inside the trunk.
Steps 2 and 3 are to remove the taillights on the trunk, which have 4 nuts and one connector each.
Those three steps are pretty straight forward. After they are done start at Step 4 below.
