I have a strange problem that has cropped up regularly on my Lexus IS 200t 2017. When I start my car my iPhone connects via bluetooth. Then the display on the car indicates that there is a current phone call in process and my name and phone number show up as the person being called.

A couple of times I have been able to get rid of this by quitting the phone app on my phone. However just today I tried to do that and the phone app had never been launched. I turned off Bluetooth and it disconnected the call, but then when I turned it back on again it reconnected and showed the call in progress.

Any thoughts on this?

 

What kind of phone is it?
Did the phone have a recent software update?

I would suggest removing the Bluetooth pairing of the phone from the car, and the car from the phone...then repair again.
