I am ordering a trunk spoiler from eBay OEM
what is this installation template
do i need this?
and is this easy to stick on by yourself
it says THIS ITEM DOES NOT COME WITH INSTALATION TEMPLATE PART NUMBER PT938-53140-DT

It comes with 3M tape already applied to the underside of it, but I added a bit more to mine. I purchased the install template but didn't even use it, just stuck it on with the 3M and it has been holding perfectly for years now.
I need to list my template for sale as it's still new in the box, but keep forgetting about it.
