Default Finally got her lowered

Thanks for all the help with my car guys. So I have swapped out the lower control arm bushings and put in rsr down springs. Im sure it will drop a little more in the coming weeks as the springs settle. Now on to the next mods lol. Would like to do a tune and probably some exhaust. I have a duck bill spoiler I need to put on also.

Have you looked into possibly running spacers? From the angle of those pictures it seems like the tires are pretty sunken in after lowering. Also did you need to adjust headlights after lowering?

Nice. Where did you get your duck bill? Looking for a replacement for my Artisan rep, hard to find good quality ones these days.

I'd love to lower my wife's IS 350 F Sport, but it's her DD and she's not nearly as into cars as I am... I'd hate to ruin an already awesome-riding vehicle for her.

I'm on RSR downs also. To me, they are very slightly stiffer than the stock suspension (which I like), but not by much at all. They feel great and not much different than the stock ride feel. I've ridden in other vehicles before that used lowering springs and thought they rode like crap / were bouncy. These, on this car, are not like that at all. They feel great imo.

In many of my previous vehicles, if I lowered them, I went with full coil-overs, but after a lot of reading around here and so many people stating they loved their RSR springs I decided to give them a shot and if I didn't like the ride I would sell them and get coilovers... well I'm still on the springs and love them.

BUT .... I would not lower my wife's vehicle, personally, unless she has drove lowered cars before and knows how to take steep driveways and bumps, it's really easy to scape the front bumper once it's lowered. The look likely won't be worth the potential damage.

Your wife loves you, I'm sure she'd let you lower her car.

Solid post, Thanks. I'll keep all of that in mind and that's good to know about the RSR springs for future reference. Appreciate it.
