A year ago I spilled some glue onto my back seat, in an attempt to remove it, I ended up fading away some paint and peeling some off. I have been quoted by local leather repair shops around me for about $300 CAD. I was wondering if there was any other solution to this, such as dye I can purchase online to make it look better.

I understand I messed up real bad. I regret it every day. I don't have to see it often but if I can fix it without paying so much I will.

What kind of glue is it? I would try using an alcohol wipe and then a leather wipe. If that doesn't do it, then go with the shop and have them do it.

 

Sometimes using DS22 degreaser would work nice for glue but do not over wipe as it could discolor the leather ...

Go to a salvage yard and just pick one up there if you're lucky there might be an F Sport with roja red seats for grabs.
