Default Exhaust help

I have a 2016 is350 f sport and i want my exhaust sound to be just a tad bit louder and lower of a sound nothing crazy and instead of going for an exhaust delete because im worried how loud it is, i thought about getting the flowmaster super 44 muffler or possibly the magnaflow one but not sure if it’s worth it because i can’t find a video anywhere with this exhaust for my car. Anyone’s opinion would help thank you. Also would i have to buy two mufflers since it’s a dual exhaust?

Welcome to the forum!

For the mufflers you are looking at I don't recall anyone on here installing the Flowmaster on their IS. For the IS there are several pre-fab cat-back and axle-back units in the market, so owners tend to gravitate towards those.
Borla does have a system for the IS that is probably the closest thing you'll find comparable to the units you are looking at.
Youtube videos will give you some idea on what different system sound like, but you have to factor in what the video was recorded on and what you're viewing it on...the sound may not be a true representation of the actual exhaust note in person.
Check out this post for what the Magnaflow sounds like with a Resonator delete: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/bui...ml#post9859865

Yes you would need two mufflers as it is a dual exhaust.

I have a 14 350 fsport, was in the same exact situation as you. Really wanted a bit more but was worried it was going to be obnoxious. Ended up going with the invidia q300. My girlfriend was not stoked I wanted an exhaust. I went with rolled steel tips rather than the burnt ones to maintain a somewhat OEM look. I also went with a stillen diffuser and the exhaust + diffuser look great together. Most importantly, I now have a nice low-end growl that wasn't there before, and it's not too loud, but when I step on it the intake + exhaust note sounds great to my passengers and myself, and even the gf approves. Overall I am super happy with it.
