Default need help with 2021 custom wheels

Trying to upgrade my wheels on the new 2021 IS. Besides carid no other website seems to say certain wheels are compatible even thought they are 5x114.3, and im wondering if any of you folks have the answer as to why a 5x114.3 wouldnt be compatible? the obvious answer is i could simply just order from carID, but according to their website shipping times are longer than normal and i want the wheels much sooner, so i was looking for other sites. any helpful info would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to the forum!

Outside of the bolt pattern, 5x114.3, the height, width, and offset also determine if the wheel will fit.
Also the 2021 switched to lug bolts...so the rim bolt seat is also a factor.

Maybe you can let us know what rim(s) your are looking at so we could provide more information/advise.

As the 2021 is so new, websites may not have exact fitment information yet.
From one of the 2021 owners that has aftermarket wheels, it appears the fitment for width and offset are the same for 2021 as the 2014-2020.

Even the Carid website fitment isn't exact...they list the offset as +15 to +50...the offset has to be a number, it can't be a range.

that is exactly what was throwing me off. When I would select wheels that said they were compatible, it gave a range for the bolt pattern and the offset which made no sense to me. Appreciate all your help and also for linking me those photos of the other rides!

Too true. I find Carid tends to give safe size and offset ranges to include the "non car enthusiast" types who aren't looking for flush or flush-like fitment, and simply want some kind of aftermarket wheels on their car.
