Default 2021 IS350 Cold Air Intake

Hello everyone, this is my first post but I just wanted to share a little mod I did to my car. I used to previously own a 2014 IS 250 and I had purchased a CAI, I traded in the car and took it off because I wanted to put it on a 350 sometime in the future. Well I ended up getting the 2021 model and if y'all didn't know the engine bay is different. I had to modify the heat shield in order to make it fit. I also have an exhaust that I will be installing soon!

Looks good! What percent tint did you go with? I'm planning on doing mine but not sure how dark I should... I was thinking 20-15%. Thanks for replying to my post!

i did 20% all around. Looks good, I’m in Canada they don’t really care about tint.
At night with no street lights it’s dark as hell backing up and looking through windows, if area is lit it’s not bad at all.

Hey man. Car looks great. Just curious though, what year intake did you get? I cant find any for the 2021 IS, and did it fit right on or did you have to make modifications for it to fit?

Was wondering the same thing actually. Injen site only has up to the 2020 year model. Any luck finding something?

Stock intake + Tom's filter is better than anything else.

I need to talk to you about your wheels and air...Iaam in the market for some wheels, and am also considering air, but not sure.

Best for performance: Stock with a good high-flow filter
Best for noise: Any open air filter like Takeda and Injen

Injen claims 19+ Hp, wouldn’t that make it better in performance over stock?
