Good afternoon everyone. So while I was away my wife had accidentally hooked my battery up backwards. Such resulted in the blown fuse. I have a new fuse on order, however I am having difficulty separating the fuse cluster from the box itself. Any tips?

Reason: Lack of information.
Could you indicate which fuse it is you're trying to replace?
A few others have hooked the battery up backwards and had several blown fuses...so if you only have one then you are certainly lucky.
If you could identify the fuse more help will likely be forthcoming.
All 4 of those fuses are in an assembly. I see tabs to separate the cluster from the box, but even depressing them I can't seem to separate the two so I can get to the nuts attaching the wires to the bottom of that fuse.
you will have to disassemble majority of the the fuse box and undo the fuse from the bottom as well before you can pull it out.
Its not fun and time consuming. Use small picks and small flathead to separate the bottom housing of the fusebox from the top portion

That's unfortunately what I was thinking was gonna be the case. Any tips on doing that? Also will it hurt if I disconnect the power steering computer in order to get the battery shelf out?

As long as the 12volt battery is disconnected, it is okay to unplug other items, just make sure to reconnect when done.

^^ Agreed with specOne on this...just plug everything back in before you connect the battery and you'll be fine.
