Unhappy I need help with stereo control buttons/ steering wheel buttons

Hello All,

Can I get some help here what should I do with buttons are not working properly on the steering wheel as well as the buttons on the dash? The system is stuck at decreasing volume all the time (If I raise the volume up, it will auto bring it down like the - volume is getting stuck), my volume **** isn't functioning also. If I press the answer call button, it will open the voice command screen instead of going into the address book. I think the preset is wrong and I do not know how to reset it back.

Any recommendation? I tried disconnecting the battery and reconnect but it does not reset the stereo system/ memory ...

Thank you!

The steering wheel buttons are connected through wiring called the Clockspring because of its shape.
If this has developed a short, open or other malfunction that could be your trouble.

Before spending time and money on that possibility, might you have spilled soda or sugary
coffee on the buttons? This might respond to a spray of "tuner cleaner" solvent and/or compressed
air blasting the buttons and gaps.

I have never spilled anything on the buttons, everything was working fine yesterday's morning then suddenly this happens in the afternoon when I came out from work. Is there a way I can reset the car's computer/ stereo system to its default settings? I feel like it might have something to do with it.
