I want to get you all's opinion on if you think this car is totaled. It looks pretty bad but it was a taller truck that hit me and you can tell by where the damage is. Has anyone also had any experience with a similar car being totaled? Thanks for your help!

 

Unfortunately it is not likely to be totaled, I had a car that was similarly rear ended, and it was about $10k in repairs - not enough for insurance to write it off.

 

Better if you showed a side profile, if there is any frame bending, it might be totaled.. Looks pretty bad, even the exhaust ends look bent. I feel like this could go either way. Hope you and whoever was involved is good, good luck, let us know if totaled

 

Did airbags deploy? That would total the car for sure.

 

no they didn’t, and back window wasn’t damaged at all plus the back wheel hubs weren’t damaged much either. I’m hoping it’s repairable

 

Well if you have a mechanic that you know very well....he can help you do anything you want.
