My tune hiccupes every now and then where I had to pull the paddle to make it up shift as it did not do it automatically...But besides that my RR racing tune has been great....

Anyone else try a 0-60 with bolts ons and a measuring device?

Not mine, I eat those like little sneaker bars. Better have a V8 to mess with the Beast. Driver matters, always remember that LOL

You can do this if you swap in the 4.08 from the 2IS but your transmissions shift points will be all out of whack

Why would the shift points be out of whack? How does the transmission shift logic work? Isn't it based on engine speed, not vehicle speed?

Don't ask me, that's just what's happened with the one or two people on this forum who have done it. But in manual mode it should bring parity with the 2IS350's 0-60.

I skimmed through this and there was a lot of technical talk, it was all very interesting. Simple answer though would be to just go FBO and supercharged through RR. Should give plenty of power to go sub 5 0-60 if you can put the power down...

I just think the diff ratio is just such an easy low-hanging fruit to get to some of that wasted power. So it would be of great value if someone could get the trans programming sorted.

You do actually bring up a very solid point. I do wish there was better tunability for the trans, I actually made a thread about it a while back. One of the few things I am jealous of my BMW and other ZF friends about is how well those transmission react. Even the F trans feels miles better (granted I have 6 speed bc of AWD)

The responsiveness of the 8-speed in my 330 is very noticeable compared to the 8-speed in my IS. I kinda wish I could go to a shop and have the transmissions swapped. LOL.
