What percent of current IS 300 Fsport owners will actually upgrade to the IS 350 Fsport? Or will they be content with the new IS 300, which does not come with any Fsport package. For me I currently have a 2020 IS 300 Fsport. I feel like i would be downgrading if I get the 2021 IS 300. I may have to go for the 350 if the leasing will be roughly the same in payments or look for another manufacturer. I wish that Lexus would also offer the 2021 IS 300 in an Fsport or at the very least offer 19" staggered wheels. The ones that I have seen look cheap and the stance on any IS looks horrible w/o a staggered set up. Just my opinion...
I think they're just showing the 2 models and their drivetrains, the IS300 should get the F sport package
Let's hope so because on their website it says this:
"Fast, Fun, Ferocious - Putting the “F” in F SPORT The IS F SPORT lineup is restructured in the 2021 model year, as F SPORTs will only be offered on the IS 350 powered by the 311-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine. F SPORT features a host of visual and performance cues that immediately set it apart, including a unique front bumper with functional aerodynamic enhancements, rear bumper, grille surround, rear lip spoiler, rocker molding and more. Along with F SPORT 19-inch wheels, a unique center cap and larger rear tires for added performance (265/35R19), they are also equipped with a cool air intake with sound generator and an F SPORT exhaust and diffuser. In addition, unique F SPORT badges adorn the sides and rear of the vehicle as well. "
Weird. My sales guy at the dealership told me that almost 50% of IS models sold were F Sport back in 2016. Maybe they're trying to make F Sport more exclusive?

At least the V6 variant should. I wouldn't get an IS without the FSport package, so I'd get the IS350. Disapointing that they are forcing people to getvt he 350 if they want the FSport. I currently have an IS300 Fsport as well

correct. I actually don't mind the 2.0 turbo. It's always been my daily driver and I jjust lease them anyways.. But the base model looks horrible w/o bigger wheels and the wider rears. Hopefully there is an option for the 19" staggered set up on the base. Plus my insurance is about $50 more a month for an IS 350...
lexus probably made the f sport 350 only so they can sell more 350s than the previously did since everyone usually went for the 250/300 with the f sport package. by offering the 350 with f sport only people who aren’t really paying that much attention will think it’s more exclusive which in a way it is now

It appears that's what they are going after, if you see it's a F sport it is always the fast one. More exclusive, and maybe more upscale as the 'dynamic handling package' on the Fsport is going to have Ash wood trim and BBS rims.
Most of the 3IS I see in Canada are F-sport trims, these premium sport type trims for luxury brands are a revenue stream for dealers so to remove it would be out of touch with the market.

It's a little too late for that, almost all I see are F-sport on the road.
For the price of the IS350 in Canada I'd rather get the ES350 with Ultimate Trim to get more tech like the panoramic view cams, larger screen, trunk kick sensor and the heads up display. IMO Lexus is going the wrong route here that will drive some folks to other products like the new TLX which has improved.
