Are 2is hoods the same as 3is?

Will a 2is hood fit on a 3is. I thought I read somewhere that they were the same. There are some pretty cool 2is hoods that I want for my 3is.

The hoods are different part numbers so I would say no, they are not the same.

pretty sure this is one of the parts that aren't transferable like Sasnuke stated
