Adding an amp to factory sub?
Hi all,
I have a non-ML audio package and have a mono amp that would work perfectly on a sub.
I know many have replaced the sub too, but would it do a lot of good to simply add this amp between the factory amp and the factory sub?
Just not sure if a dedicated amp could help the factory sub.

Buy a audiocontrol LOC. A line output converter, or LOC for short, converts a speaker-level output signal into an RCA preamp-level signal. This lets you connect the radio to the amplifier. in your case, allows for a sub
after finishing my aftermarket Sub install, i haven't even upgraded the Front door speakers because with/Sub, Amp, Cap, Loc upgrade...it sounds much better
if you are looking for more Bass, adding an amp to the non-ML won't help too much if any
if you like crystal clear music but zero bass, upgrading OEM speakers would be your best bet
great thing about non-ML is Lexus made it very easy for aftermarket upgraders to install any/all upgrades
this is my experience:
Install: DIY Non ML Amp - Aftermarket Subwoofers Amp Capacitor
