Default Lexion A10-LXS Experience?

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Lexion A10-LXS Head Unit.

It *looks* really great...wish I could say the same about the price! I’d love someone’s first-hand experience with it or honest opinion on the product.

It does look great. It's more than I want to spend at this point. I was waiting for people to chime in on the RoadTop thread. I'm holding
out hope that Lexus or someone develops a dongle that actually works well. I don't really need to replace my screen, plus
I'm hardly driving at all currently. I'm teaching from home like all teachers.

I searched Lexion and the company’s an approved vendor with CL (originally posted only a couple months ago), so I think we’re in the same ‘patiently waiting’ boat, haha

Did you guys go to this thread there are a few impressions from 1-2 owners they mostly said positive things but if there are some cons not sure they will post it here they don’t seem very active on CL. I just finished installing OG 4x4 unit. It’s a bit sluggish and sometime I get blank screen when I try to launch Wireless CarPlay but when it works it’s really nice. Audio quality via aux is just as good as oem. Wish it was a bit faster overall. I think Lexion is worth it since it’s the only one that has joystick working in CarPlay. Others do not work you’ll have to use touchscreen only.

Thanks dojoman, I read the entire thread and watched the videos from ISDAS using the interface...and I think it looks quite promising! Thanks dojo, I think that thread has swayed me towards it but, hasty decisions be damned, I want to know the cons before pulling the trigger.

Future-proofing at any degree is important, but this is quite a pretty penny to drop on this.

I think $850 is reasonable considering sale price is temporary and when you compare to $600 Beatsonic interface without screen upgrade Lexion is way better. When 4x4 unit first came out it was about same price and many people bought it even though there are a bunch of bugs and joystick stick doesn’t even work on newer unit.

Good point, dojo. Lexion looks like they have a good product at this price-point.

I sent a message to Jae from Lexion to answer some questions about warranty and return policy. I’ll probably post a write-up about my impressions on the unit and any more information you all would like to know before jumping in.
