ENFORM 3G services

2017 IS300 Fsport

Received an email today saying that
most of the Enform services will soon no
longer be available? So the software update
I waited 3 hours for is now irrelevant?
The email included a reminder about
the update?

“Certain telecommunication providers
have elected to terminate 3G wireless
services which will impact available
services for motor vehicles.“

That recent OTA update was for the NAV and head unit apps...The enform 3G services are being discontinues...So the SOS service and the Lexus car remote phone app...

Sorry, I thought the NAV update was
for the locator for the Safety Connect.

I was told October 2022 is when the discontinued services would start to happen. I'm unsure what cell provider they use so I wonder how long it will take them to phase out 3g service.

Pretty much all of them. The 3G service will be decommissioned completely. It will be on 2022 but different months for different carriers.

Pretty sure Enform uses Verizon
