Average person won’t do that on regular roads.

Did you get rid of your IS?
I sold it to my cousin who gave it to her daughter but they call me for anything car related.

The car was perfect when I sold it and it's still working like a champ at over 70k. It will last forever.

overall awesome cars, not just a true performance car. How’s your Tesla stack up to it handling wise? Not even comparable?

The IS350 is as good or better on normal driving. The Tesla just has much higher capability due to the AWD system and the ability to distribute torque perfectly. Track driving of course goes to the Tesla due to Tack Mode where understeer is minimal and you can pull of blistering laps.

If you never plan to take it to the track and typically don't drive very fast, the IS350 is a great drive. The only reason I got the Tesla was the acceleration and overall cost of maintenance and fuel. For everything else, the IS350'is easily comparable.

how fast is the Tesla? Is it that crazy one with ludicrous mode and like a 3 sec 0-60?

The Ludicrous mode is only available for Model S and it does 0-60 in 2.4s. That's if you warm up battery and have Cheetah stance on. If you just put it on Ludicrous mode without warming up the battery, its about 2.8s to 60. I have the Model 3 Performance and it doesn't have modes. You just floor it and it goes. If you are around 90% battery, you get about 3s flat but it gets slower with the charge level. By 50% charge, you are only doing 3.4s 0-60. By about 30%, you are around 3.7s.
