I definitely don’t recommend you buy anything expensive from Aliexpress. Below are units that I’m aware of just from reading theses forums. Lexion and Carsyso don’t seem to have overheating issue due to decoder being a separate box.

Recently I've installed a Carsyso (aka Esishuo) unit into my 2014 F SPORT. It's overall stable and I am going to record a few review videos to share my experience with this unit.

I've upgraded the display from OEM 7" to 10.3" 1280*480 resolution. Be careful with the "high resolution" gimmick from a few other brands, they do have a higher resolution (1920*720) but very poor quality display, plus a distorted user interface.

Attached picture was not taken from my car, just an illustration.

I'm getting a few simple equipment so that I may do the recording safely.

Here is a very short preview:

Where did you buy yours? Your profile shows CA but in video looks like it’s in Asia?

Maybe they are doing OEM for other brands?
I'm not familiar with their business model.

Around 10 members in our local IS club also upgraded to this system.

The original 7" system is just so outdated.

I took a few videos with my old dash cam but they are all useless because they are over-exposed... will find another time to do it again with a better equipment...

I purchased mine from NaviHua for $720 shipped w/ wireless CarPlay dongle and had a good experience overall. My unit gets hot, but it has not overheated. I was informed they are working a software update for those with units that overheat

I bought a second hand unit from a member here not sure what brand it is I’ll install it next week. He said it was similar to earlier 4x4 unit hope it works. I didn’t want to spend $800.

Why would someone sell his/her unit if it works without any problems? Be careful...
