Default 2014 IS350 AWD Dual LED headlights question

Hello Everyone!
Hoping to get some insight on something. I’ve seen many forums on how to replace HID bulbs in the 2IS but haven’t seen many threads or discussions on replacing the dual LED headlights on 2014+ IS’s. Thank god (knock on wood) I haven’t had to replace any bulbs on my 3IS yet, but i’ve always been curious on the cost to replace the bulbs on the Dual LED setup on the 3IS. I’ve heard a couple people telling me that the the entire unit/assembly needs to be replaced. Is this true? I heard it cost an arm and a leg to replace but I wanted to know if any one has experienced their Dual LEDs going out/or had them replaced before. Also, how long do Lexus LED lights last? Thanks in advance!
Cheers!

Far as I know the LEDs are not designed to be replaced. Maybe someone has done it? In theory the LEDs should last the life of the car but from I've seen reliability has been relatively poor compared to the old school halogen.

That is correct, you cannot replace the LED bulbs on the IS because they are baked into the housing. You have to replace the ENTIRE headlight itself if your stock ones go out or fail or whatever.
