Default Changing OEM screen from 7" to 10"

Has anybody changed from the non-navi 7" screen on a 2016 IS200t to the larger >2017 10" non-navi screen? Is it a simple case of plug and play with the bolt holes and rear connections matching up exactly? Reason I asked is after installing carplay, I itch for a larger screen. Thanks.

If I am not mistaken, there isn't a non navi stock 10" screen. The 2017+ non navi come with the small screen still. My 2018 came with the small screen since I didn't want navigation. I ended up going to the 4x4Shop aftermarket 10" screen route. Hope this helps.

^^Agreed...it was confirmed on another thread that the 2017+ non-navi did not get the larger screen.

Not sure why anyone would by factory nav, it's garbage! The screen, however, is nice.

Agreed. Most OEM navigation systems are 110% garbage. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are the standard tbh.

I think you should definitely get 10.25 unit from Lexion looks to be better quality than 4x4 but I’m still waiting for more user impressions. If they hadn’t jack up the price I would have bought it.

If it works better than the Carlink setup, or anywhere near as good as factory CarPlay, it's a BARGAIN compared to the factory NAV.

I have seen their products and I can say that they are not korean products, they are Taiwanese.. Lexion MAY be a korean reseller. So, very possible they get their stuffs from same supplier as those on Aliexpress. Besides, other than the small screen, Roadtop's carplay is working good for me right now...

Yeah I saw some of their videos in Mandarin on Youtube I assumed they were customer's video but likely made in Taiwan or China but at least they claim it doesn't overheat. I'm still debating whether to try Roadtop version from Amazon. At least returning should be easy if it doesn't work but all the harnesses from Carlinkit and Roadtop are identical down to texts on their label so I doubt it works in my car.
