2016 is200t bolts torque specs
Hi
I am planning to paint my brake calipers in the upcomming days, and I am trying to be as prepared as possible.
I cannot find anywhere the torque specs for the bolts holding the caliper to bracket, aswell as the 2 bolts holding the bracket itself. Anyone know where I can find this information. Or does someone know?
Is there even an actual torque spec? Or should I just tighten it good ?
Thank you!

There used to be a thread where someone posted a link to the repair manual where he had downloaded it as a PDF.
I tried finding the thread, but can't seem to locate it.

I'm a big believer and pusher of torque ratings, you should've seen me in my BMW days on the forums....
however sometimes it's not always possible to get a torque wrench in. and honestly most mechanics don't even bother. years of experience has taught them and me that for something like a caliper is good enough to just use "pretty darn tight" as a reference. If you can't fit a torque wrench. you should also know by exerience and feel how tight you are tightening to. i can easily do 40-60-80 lbs by feel.
for caliper to bracket, you're usually looking at around 40 lbs
for bracket to wheel carrier assembly (hub) you're usually looking at 60-80 lbs. depends on the size of the fastener. values are pretty universal among all car brands as pretty much all calipers are quite similar across all brands. kia, ford, ferrari, civic, camry, F150, lexus, smart car, etc
google is a great resource.
